The Malawi Housing Corporation signed a MOU with Al-Bader International Development Co. from Kuwait, to construct 250,000 houses. The event took place in Lilongwe at BICC. The Corporation plans to construct 25,000 houses under a project called Project 250 in 10 years.

The Corporation has been engaging different stakeholders for housing joint venture. Both Local and international companies have showed interest. Meanwhile due diligence process are being conducted on other companies as a way forward.
