The Corporation has recently undertaken house construction projects as follows;

1. Construction of 66No 68No E3-72 semi -detached houses at Ngumbe by Hualong Construction.

The Corporation just completed construction works of 66No blocks of semi -detached houses. These houses were constructed using National Bank loan. The works were completed and handed over. Currently all houses are occupied by tenants.

Contract sum was Mk 1,699,762,525.38

2. Construction of 12No Class E- 2 bedroomed semi-detached houses at Ngumbe

The Houses were constructed by Kaliyeka Construction Company but completed by Malawi Housing Construction Company.

The works involved construction of two bedroomed semi –detached. Total construction cost after completion is MK284,815,179.06. Works were constructed using internal generated funds

3. Construction of 8No Class D105 - 3 bedroomed houses at Ngumbe by Rays Construction Limited

The project is being completed by Malawi Housing Corporation Construction Company.

The works involved construction of three bedroom houses. Works are practically to be completed by 30th November, 2024

4. Construction of 16No Class E- 2 bedroomed semi-detached houses at Ngumbe and 12No flats at BCA constructed by Fargo Limited

Houses were constructed using National Bank loan. The works were completed and handed over. Currently all houses are occupied by tenants.

Contract sum was Mk 1,082,134,232.81
