The Corporation has developed 321 plots at Ngumbe for both residential and commercial development. Plot allocation has started and will be ongoing until all plots are allocated. Meanwhile, road construction works is under way at site.

The project also involves Construction of 9.2 kilometers road and associated drainage works servicing. The road will be finished in bitumen standard Class 3 in single chip seal with slurry finish. The estimated budget for the road works is currently at MK3,259,501,713.89.

The works are to be completed within a period of one year. Bush clearing, setting out and levelling has already been done. Sub grading and compaction using existing material is now under way.
